Saturday August 15th is Bookstore Romance Day at Fuzzy Duck Coffee Shop & CoffeeTree Books and we’re collaborating on a really fun Date with a Craft event that morning from 10am-12pm!

We’ll have a mini bookshelf workshop at the studio with 3D bookshelf decorating and the accessories to style it, a special drink and sweet treat from the Fuzzy Duck, and exclusive, early access romance title that you can’t get anywhere else until August 18!

Connecting with your community and reconnecting with yourself is so important, especially in times like today.

That’s why we’re SO excited to announce the 2nd Annual Art for Mental Health event sponsored by Commonwealth Cooperage.

Come to our studio on Main Street, Morehead, on Thursday, August 6th from 10am-8pm. Have fun and create something beautiful (and get some yummy food too!)

〰️ Choose any pottery piece—paint it for FREE! (it’s yours to keep after firing)
〰️ First 40 guests get a free food truck voucher (truck TBD)
〰️ No sign-up needed. All ages welcome
〰️ First come, first served + waitlist will be available

Some lessons learned from last year:

〰️ This is a BUSY event. If crowds and noise are a bother, this might not be the event for you.
〰️ There may be a line outside, so come prepared in case you need to wait. We will limit the number of people at any given time inside the studio to around 60.
〰️ We can’t guarantee everyone will get to participate, especially towards the end of the day.
〰️ If you are put on the waitlist, we will do our best to give you a time estimate. You’ll need to be at the studio within 15 minutes of your callback to claim your spot.
〰️ We are not able to hold a piece, so choose one that you can finish within 1 hour or so.
〰️ The play area will be CLOSED to allow for more seating.
〰️ Please, be understanding to our business, our staff, and our volunteers.

Growing Consent Culture

We’re honored to partner with Pathways Porchlight for this event at our studio on Saturday May 16th from 6-8pm!

This event is open to everyone of all ages in the community, because consent is relevant to everyone! Sexual violence is a heavy topic, and our goal is to bring the community together for a fun/relaxing time, celebrating survivors, and learning more about the services available.

Join us to paint a small planter ($20) and plant your own seeds of strength using free soil and seeds. You are welcome to create freely or use our ribbon stencils and teal to represent awareness and solidarity.

We’ll have charcuterie and drinks available to enjoy.

$5 from every piece will be donated to Pathways Porchlight.

Start the new year right with this mindfulness workshop led by local artist Elizabeth Ash (The Dot Lady). All tools and materials will be provided.

When you arrive, we will have cards with beautifully handwritten words to choose from (or to choose randomly). You’ll then trace the lettering onto your tile. Next comes the dots. We’ll have printouts that explain the meaning of colors, so you can use the ones that resonate with your vision for the year 2026. Elizabeth will be here every step of the way to guide you as you create your meaningful hanging ceramic tile. Once complete, we’ll fire it and you’ll be able to pick up within 1 week.

February 12th, join us at their Morehead location for great food, drinks, and a fun time painting — then grab dessert afterwards!

Includes all supplies, your choice of entree w/side, and 2 drinks + a cup of ice cream or bubble tea at Roll Over Rolled Ice Cream — all for only $35!

This event will be setup a little differently than usual — we’ll start the evening by taking your food order, then we’ll get right into painting while your dinner is prepared! Once finished, we’ll clean up and you’ll enjoy your dinner. Afterwards, you can walk across the street to grab your dessert.

🍄 We have another Whimsical Workshop to end Halloween month — Textured Ghosts!

Join us Saturday, October 26th from 7-9pm at our studio to create your own textured ghosts on canvas! We’ll walk you through the tools and techniques. Once you’ve crafted all your ghost friends, you can paint them however you’d like!

Also includes a special ghost donut from The Donut Fairy to enjoy in the studio while you create!

🍄Announcing our first Whimsical Workshop — Autumn Mosaic Coaster!

Join us in our studio on October 7th from 6-8pm where you’ll create your own mosaic coaster! Trace the design, use snippers to cut glass, then glue and grout to complete. Designs include mushroom, acorns, sunflowers, maple leaf, and pumpkin.

Very excited to include your choice of specialty drink from Fuzzy Duck Coffee Shop & CoffeeTree Books to enjoy while you create!
